We’re Stephen and Jason, the pilots behind Legacy. We each have pets of our own, and we know how much they mean to you. When yours is missing, you want someone who will listen, take your concerns seriously, and help you figure out what to do next. That’s where we come in.

If your pet is missing, call us as soon as you can. Getting the details early helps us check whether we can fly in the area and start planning a search. We can’t promise an outcome, but we’ll be honest with you about what we can do.

You can call either of us. We coordinate based on your location and availability so you don’t have to figure out which pilot to contact.

It starts with your location

The first thing we’ll do is confirm where you’re located and check our flight app to see whether we can fly in the area. Then we’ll talk through what happened and gather the details we need to plan the search.

Have these details ready when you call:

Your location and what type of pet is missing
When your pet got out and how long they’ve been missing
Any sightings, including where and when
The general direction you believe your pet traveled

We’ll also ask about the surrounding area and anything else that may help us understand the situation. You don’t need every answer before calling. We’ll work through it together.

Searching for your pet

We use thermal drones to help search from above. What you tell us about your pet, recent sightings, and the surrounding area helps us decide where to focus. Every search is different, and we’ll talk with you about what’s possible for your situation.

When we locate your pet

If we locate your pet, we’ll call you and continue tracking their location from above while guiding you to them. We want to help you reach your pet, and we’ll keep you informed as we follow their movements.

If we don’t find them on the first search

We can offer another search if your pet isn’t located during the first flight. We’ll talk through the next steps, availability, and pricing with you, including any new sightings that may help guide a return search.
