When you call us, you’ll get an honest conversation about your situation and what a drone search may be able to tell us. We won’t give you false hope or promise a recovery. We’ll tell you what we see and help you understand your options.

You can call either of us. We coordinate with each other based on your location and availability so you don’t have to figure out which pilot to contact.

It starts with your call

Have your location, where you believe you shot the deer, and how long it has been since the shot ready when you call. From there, we’ll talk through the details together.

We’ll ask about shot placement, estimated penetration, the equipment and broadhead you used, any blood you found, and whether you’ve already followed the trail. Every situation is different. Those details help us set realistic expectations from the beginning and talk through what comes next.

Our thermal drones help us search from above, and our TV screens let you watch the live drone feed alongside us. You’ll see what we see as we work through the search. We’ll explain what we’re looking at and keep you involved along the way.

We’ll help beyond finding your deer

If we locate your deer and you’d like help recovering it, we’re happy to help. For us, the job means more than locating a deer and heading to the next call. We want to help you through the recovery, too.

What if the deer is still alive?

We’ll let you know and share our assessment based on what we can observe. We’ll be honest about whether we think the deer may expire or may survive with a longer recovery ahead. That assessment isn’t a guarantee, and we won’t present it as one.

If you’d like a recheck, we offer a return search the following morning or evening to try to locate the deer again and confirm whether it is still alive or has expired. We’ll discuss timing and the details with you.
